Same as anyone.
No one else will say it, but I will:
I believe in beauty.

You ask me why? Why are we here? Why is there anything at all?
I know why:
Because the world is beautiful.
And I am here to know the world’s beauty
Right now, in my own way.

Outside, the world is beautiful.
When I know it, I’m beautiful inside.
In my heart, the world is beautiful.
When I know it, it’s beautiful outside.

You ask me how? How do I know it?
I will tell you.
It’s the hardest thing anyone can do:

Always go toward beauty
And become more beautiful.

Nothing will be as beautiful
As I want it to be.
There’s always something deeper.
But there’s no other way to go.

And I know I’ll be destroyed going there—
By others, yes,
By myself even more—
But maybe someday I’ll get close enough
To show someone else their own beauty.
Or better:
Let them figure it out themselves.

That’s what I believe.
That’s why I believe.
That’s how I believe.

I believe in beauty.
