It Is 03:29
Drop away, what drops away into memory into time and what is in time un-focuses and what is in memory is put into words most solid and all wrong because it is beyond words even it so secret so wonderful that it is just about to be a word but after during before it happens all words are and cease.
2.
The Tell 02:57
He called her. They said they’d meet for lunch. He knew he needed to tell her, but he didn’t know how. How to couch it, you know? The right buildup, or where the right place should be. He didn’t know. Then, five minutes before he would see her, he knew what to say. He walked right up to her and told her.
3.
Be with Me 02:28
Ah. See me, See me, Be with me. Our love would be so sweet, So come and be with me. Come to me, Come to me, Be with me. How sweet our love would be, So come and be with me. Ah.
4.
Baby Be 03:27
Who might this baby be? A new life. A better me. A new day for me to live, maybe? Who might I be for this baby? What might this baby bring? A new light. A joy to sing. A new way for me to sing, maybe? What might I bring for you, baby? How might this baby love? Greater than I could know. All my life, all my light, And a reason for me to love, maybe? How might I love for my baby?

Come, love Come for me: Let out of the air tears of dew Drop down Between breaths of the dawn And the mossy earth. Come, come let the rain Slip in streams through the fingers of clouds. And then as we play, When you and I move Trembling ground will give way And nothing will stay Except us, love, only us, love: Nothing will be, only us, my love. And God will scream through our embrace So the earth might know it.

This rare thing, whatever it is. This thing that happened only once, and I thought would keep on happening, somewhere, sometime, but it never did. This thing that I knew was magical, but I couldn’t know how magical, till long, long after it was gone. And by then I knew I would never find it again. This rare thing, whatever it is. When I look for this rare thing I can’t find it. When I try not to look for this rare thing it slips further away. Until I forget all about this rare thing and then this rare thing is everywhere. This rare thing, whatever it is. What if it happened only once? What is it? What if it happens everywhere, every time? What’s it worth? Is this rare thing what might be, or what is?

My Body Over 04:16
Now I give my body over: Let go of my touch, Let go of my taste, my smell Release all I see, release all I hear. I open my grasp on this flesh And what is left over Soars up. And the life in me Is not what my body might hold, But is all. How could I who will die Share the heights of divinity? How could I still alive Share the depths of those who never die? Love, love never to know love in return. Now I give my body over: And the life in me Is not what my body might hold, But is all. Love, love never to know love in return.

You ask me what do I believe? Same as anyone. No one else will say it, but I will: I believe in beauty. You ask me why? Why are we here? Why is there anything at all? I know why: Because the world is beautiful. And I am here to know the world’s beauty Right now, in my own way. Outside, the world is beautiful. When I know it, I’m beautiful inside. In my heart, the world is beautiful. When I know it, it’s beautiful outside. You ask me how? How do I know it? I will tell you. It’s the hardest thing anyone can do: Always go toward beauty And become more beautiful. Nothing will be as beautiful As I want it to be. There’s always something deeper. But there’s no other way to go. And I know I’ll be destroyed going there— By others, yes, By myself even more— But maybe someday I’ll get close enough To show someone else their own beauty. Or better: Let them figure it out themselves. That’s what I believe. That’s why I believe. That’s how I believe. I believe in beauty.
